Do you have a nutritional information fact sheet?

You can find our nutritional information fact sheet, here. Please feel free to phone or ask your barista if you have an allergy that needs to be accommodated. Our baking does not include trans fats, hydrogenated oil or bleached flour and we have gluten-free and dairy-free options available at the cafe.

What green initiatives has Grounds for Coffee implemented?

How do I apply for wholesale?

To apply for wholesale, fill out our online form on the Wholesale page and a member of our team will get in touch.

How do I purchase retail?

Retail can be purchased in-person at our Alma or Commercial Drive location, by ordering over the phone or online on our Grounds for Coffee App or our online store:

Can I place a special custom order?

Absolutely, but keep in mind that some periods of time are busier than others so it’s best to give as much advance notice as possible. Please phone our Alma or Commercial Drive location to place a custom order.

Where is Grounds for Coffee located?

We have two locations in Vancouver, one at 2565 Alma Street, Vancouver, B.C. and at 2088 Commercial Dr.

What are the Grounds for Coffee hours?

What kind of food do you serve in the cafe?

Grounds for Coffee sells fresh baking, including gluten and dairy-free food and beverages. For a health-conscious option, try one of our homemade muffins, rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants. We also sell quick grab and go snacks and savoury food like samosas, wraps, breakfast buns, and in-house made flatbread! Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Do you have gluten-free and dairy-free options?

Yes, we have gluten-free and dairy-free food options available. For those who take their coffee with dairy-free milk you can chose from a variety of available alternatives.

Do you bake with peanut oil?

No, we do not bake with any hydrogenated oils and also do not use any nut products in our cinnamon buns.

Do you serve healthy on-the-go menu items?

Yes, we recommend sampling our health-conscious muffins.

Is there free parking?

The Alma St location is in the Point Grey neighbourhood, with free three-hour parking in the nearby residential areas.

The Commercial Drive location has metered parking out front and free two-hour parking can be found in the residential areas nearby.

How do I get to Grounds for Coffee by transit?

The Alma St location can be accessed by the 99 b-line, the 9 Alma, the 14 UBC and the 7 Dunbar.

The Commercial Drive location is a quick 4 minute walk from the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain Station and can also be accessed by the 99 b-line and the 20 Victoria/Downtown.

How can I stay connected with Grounds for Coffee?

How can I download the Grounds for Coffee App?

The Grounds for Coffee App is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Do I have to register with a phone number for the Grounds for Coffee App??

Yes. To set up your account, you need to conduct two-step verification, which requires a text message to be sent to your mobile phone number.

How do I place a mobile order on the App?

Once you have selected the product(s) you’d like to order and have added them to your cart:

  1. Tap the floating “cart” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  2. You will be redirected to review your order and then tap ​Checkout​
  3. You can review your order again, choose your payment method and tap ​Place Your Order ​when you’re ready to order.

You’ll receive confirmation and can monitor your order status.

What can I order through the Grounds for Coffee App?

Select a location and you can order cinnamon buns, food or drink items from the menu that is offered at that specific location.

What if I need to change or cancel my order on the App?

Call the location you are ordering from if you need to change or cancel your order. Call 10th & Alma at 604-224-5282 or call Commercial Drive at 604-254-3939. Phone numbers are also listed by location in the app.

How do I find a location where I can order for pick up on the App??

The location selector at the top of the home feed will automatically display the location closest to you. You are also able to view all locations through a map view. You will need to ensure that location services are enabled on your mobile phone.

How do I know if my order is ready on the App?

When you place an order, you will be taken to an ​Order Status ​card on your home feed, which will notify you that your order has been placed. On this card, you will see when the status of you order has been updated to “in progress” and “ready for pickup”.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to order through the App?

Your phone must be connected to data, or Wi-Fi must be ON to order or pay through the app.

What type of payment options can I use to pay with the App?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and gift card.

How do I add a gift card to the App?

Select ​Payment Methods ​in Account and add the gift card.

How do I find my receipts from the App?

You can view your purchase receipts by accessing ​Transaction History ​in your Account.

How does the Grounds for Coffee loyalty program work?

When you order ahead and pay through your Grounds for Coffee App, you collect points that can be redeemed for free coffee, specialty drinks and cinnamon buns!

You earn 10 points for every dollar you spend on the Grounds for Coffee App. Once you’ve collected 300 points, you’ll earn a reward! To see the full list of rewards available, next to “Your Rewards” tap on “View All“. Points collected will never expire as long as your account is active.

Download the app and get enough points for a free coffee on us! Earn even more points by referring a friend – each referral will get you enough points for a free coffee and a free coffee for your friend. Your friend will receive their points when they download the app, and you will receive your referral points once your friend places their first order.
